No woman has ever before completed Stage 1 in the finals of American Ninja Warrior (NBC). That is until ‘Supergirl’ Jessie Graff just did this!

The 32 year old professional stuntwoman first impressed viewers with a super-fast qualifying run adorning a Wonder Woman outfit at the LA course and followed up by competing on the show last year.

Making her way through the Log Grip, Propeller Bar, Jumping Spider and Warped Wall at the Las Vegas course last Monday, Graff wowed the audience as she expertly navigated the course wearing a ‘Green Lantern’ Superhero slash cheerleader outfit – a performance you do not want to miss!

She’s on the shown to empower herself & other women.

“My first year doing Ninja Warrior, I didn’t really know what it was about. After that, when so many people were like, ‘I didn’t know women could do that,’ I thought, ‘Then, we better show you. The main thing is just testing my limits, seeing how much you can do. Seeing how much you’re capable of.”

Jessie’s motivation is Jackie Chan!

“Jackie Chan is No. 1.  I wanna be just like Jackie Chan. The first movie of his that I saw was Shanghai Noon. There was a musical fight scene, and it was brilliant!”

Starting at the age of 6, Graff took circus lessons and by the age of 12 was killing the trapeze. She pole vaulted her way through high school and into college then focussed on martial arts, earning blackbelts in both Kung Fu and Taekwondo giving her extremely well rounded abilities and conditioning as an athlete. As a professional, she’s done stunts for the show Supergirl while recently worked on a pilot for a show called ‘Future Man’ and on the movie ‘Yoga Hosers’.

Stage 1 continues with other competitors trying to make the cut on Ninja Warrior next week, but be sure to tune in when Graff returns Sept. 12 on NBC.
