3. WALKING LUNGES
One of my favourite exercises & great for working the booty hard and getting some great shape! Walking lunges can be done with a weighted bar, dumbbells or with no weight at all. Basically taking giant steps & lowering your back knee to just above the ground & then stepping out of it into another big step, find a space long enough to do at least 10-12 lunges and lunge one way, then turn and come back the other way.
Tip: Make sure you’re taking long steps ensuring the knee of your leading leg is at a right angle and is not coming past your toes as this will help to avoid knee pain and injury. Keep your head up and chest out while focussing on alignment, balance & form. Squeeze the lunge at the top of the movement.
