Here’s an awesome and unique workout for your abs & core that doesn’t contain the typical, boring stomach exercises that absolutely BLASTS your abs!! No crunches or sit-ups here.
Instead of the typical ab routines that we all know about (crunches, situps, leg lifts, etc…), we’re going to take a detailed look some far better options for metabolism-boosting, high intensity workouts that work your entire body while also working your abs. These key exercises not only work dynamically, helping build you a super hard set of abs while strengthening your core, but they actually work to create a much better fat-burning workout than your ‘typical’ ab workout routines.
This is more of a full body workout that works your abs indirectly damn hard, and therefore stimulates a solid metabolism boost! It’s in a tri-set format (similar to a super-set but alternating between 3 exercises instead of 2). So I’m going to show you an example today of one of my favourite “ab workouts” which doesn’t include any direct “ab exercises” whatsoever!
Here’s what we’ll be taking a look at below:
Trainers Note: A good rep scheme to use with this could be 3-4 sets of 8 reps for each exercise, or more sets for less reps, such as 5 sets of 5 reps for each exercise – and Mountain climbers can be done at a time interval (such as 30 seconds, or if you really want a challenge, go 60 sec) instead of “reps”.
