Here’s a super simple and DELICIOUS recipe that will delight your tastebuds and help alleviate some of those sugar cravings at the same time. And if you’re in a rush, the best thing is you can throw these fried honey banana treats together in less than 10 minutes easy!
1 banana, sliced
1 tablespoon dried coconut flakes
1 tablespoon honey
1 pinch of Cinnamon
1 Teaspoon of Coconut oil
1. Place coconut oil into a skillet over medium heat.
2. Arrange the banana slices in the pan and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side.
3. Meanwhile, melt whisk together honey and 1 tablespoon of water.
Remove pan from heat and pour honey mixture over banana.
Allow to cool and sprinkle with cinnamon and coconut flakes.
Once you try these out and see how delicious they are, if you’re feeling adventurous then try mixing things up a bit with other healthy alternatives (which also have metabolism boosting properties). You can try replacing the cinnamon with cacoa, or the honey with coconut palm sugar or the coconut flakes with crushed almond meal.
